Terms of Service
Last updated 15 August 2026
1. Who we are
Paid To Post is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. In these terms "we", "us" and "Paid To Post" mean that company. You can reach us at [CONTACT EMAIL].
These terms cover paidtopostugc.com and everything you do inside your account. By creating an account you agree to them.
2. What the platform does
Paid To Post connects brands who want short form video ads with creators who make them. Brands post briefs. Creators take a free course, get invited to briefs, film and submit video. A brand reviews each submission and either approves it or asks for changes. Approved video is paid for. Nothing else is.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 to hold an account.
- The details you give us have to be accurate, and you have to keep them current.
- You are responsible for what happens under your login.
- One person, one creator account. One business, one brand account.
4. Creators
The course is free and stays free. Finishing it is what makes you eligible for brief invitations. It is not a promise of work, and we do not guarantee that any brand will invite you or that any submission will be approved.
You are an independent contractor. You are not our employee, you set your own hours, you use your own equipment and you are responsible for your own taxes. Nothing here creates an employment relationship, a partnership or an exclusive arrangement.
- Each brief states what it pays per approved video before you accept it.
- You keep the rate agreed on the assignment even if you later change your listed rate.
- Submitted video must be your own work, filmed by you, and free of third party content you do not have the right to use.
- Any person appearing in a video must have agreed to appear in a paid advertisement.
5. Brands
You pay per approved video. There is no retainer and no minimum spend. When you approve a submission you are agreeing to pay the rate stated on that assignment.
- Review submissions within a reasonable time. Video left unreviewed past the window we publish in the product may be approved automatically.
- Ask for changes with a written reason. A rejection with no reason is not a rejection.
- Briefs have to be lawful, accurate about the product, and free of claims a creator cannot verify.
- You may not contact a creator to arrange work off the platform to avoid fees.
6. Money
Payouts run through Stripe. Creators connect a Stripe account and Stripe handles identity checks, bank details and the transfer itself. Stripe's own terms apply to that part, and we never see or store full bank or card numbers.
- Approval creates the payout. Nothing is owed before approval.
- Payouts clear after a seven day hold from approval, which covers disputes and chargebacks.
- Paid To Post takes a fee of [FEE STRUCTURE] on each transaction.
- Refunds and disputes are handled case by case at [REFUND POLICY].
Where taxes apply, each side is responsible for their own. We may issue tax documents where the law requires it, using the details you gave Stripe.
7. Who owns the video
The creator owns the video they film. On approval and payment, the creator grants the brand a [LICENCE SCOPE] licence to use that video in paid and organic advertising for [LICENCE TERM]. Unapproved video stays entirely with the creator and the brand has no right to use it.
Creators grant us a limited right to host and display their work inside the platform, so brands can review it and so it can appear in a creator's own portfolio. We will not use a creator's video in our own marketing without asking first.
8. Things you cannot do
- Upload anything you do not have the rights to.
- Post content that is illegal, hateful, or sexual.
- Use someone else's likeness or voice without their agreement, including a synthetic version of it.
- Submit AI generated video as your own filmed work unless the brief says otherwise.
- Scrape, resell or reverse engineer the platform.
- Route agreed work off the platform to avoid fees.
9. Ending the arrangement
You can close your account whenever you like. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why unless the law stops us. Work already approved still gets paid. Money already held for a creator is still theirs.
10. What we do not promise
The platform is provided as it is. We do not guarantee earnings for creators, results for brands, or that the service will be uninterrupted. We are not a party to the agreement between a brand and a creator beyond running the platform and moving the money.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to [LIABILITY CAP].
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the product or by email before it takes effect. Carrying on using the platform after that means you accept the new version.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and disputes go to the courts of [VENUE].
